You don’t always need either fancy or expensive equipment to do some exercises that go a long way to helping you to keep fit and healthy. Of course, many types of exercise equipment are fantastic for whole body workouts, and the rowing machine is probably one of the best you can own. You can see some rowing machines, as well as an assortment of other equipment here if they are of interest to you.

However, it might be that you just don’t have the space to set up, use, and store what can be quite large pieces of kit in your home. Or maybe for some reason the use of specialised equipment is not advisable in your situation.

Walk your way to fitness

A treadmill is ideal for this form of exercise. But going out for a daily walk can do you the world of good. Some things to keep in mind are:

  • Try to choose a time of day when you are normally always free to go out for a daily walk.
  • Don’t forget to wear comfortable clothes and trainers.
  • Walk as quickly as you can but without overdoing it.
